Frequently Asked Questions
Golfzon uses high-speed camera technology that watches the dimples on the golf ball and nothing else. This allows us to acutely measure golf shots, both big and small, to the same degree of accuracy, whether it’s a 320-yard drive or a 7-inch putt.
It depends on which golf simulator you’re looking at. Our Vision Premium system uses ceiling mounted, or T1 high-speed cameras, while our Vision Standard system uses floor mounted, or T2 high-speed cameras.
No! It’s a standard option that is built into the base price of each golf simulator unit.
The platform will be 7.25 inches high with finishing material.
Golfzon provides detailed construction plans and provides access to an internal Project Manager, who will interface directly with your general contractor to ensure the booth is built properly and ready for our installation engineers when they arrive on-site to set up and calibrate your system.
Golfzon currently does not have a subscription service, so we maintain the golf simulator software for FREE for life.
Yes! Golfzon offers several driving ranges and short game practice facilities for you to choose from within the Vision software platform. If you want more, you can ask about our GDR software (Golfzon Driving Range), which is a much more robust and finely tuned training system.
You will get tons of golf swing data, like ball speed, club speed, spin rate, azimuth and more.
Golfzon currently has over 190 golf courses on our server, and we try to add as many as we can every year. Because you don’t pay any subscription services with Golfzon, those new golf courses will download for free and automatically upon their release. In addition to our list of real golf courses, Golfzon also has a few virtual golf courses available.
Golfzon does have other games, but they all need to be played with a golf club and a golf ball. We are proud to say we’re the best golf simulator in the world, and that’s because our sole focus is on the game of golf. The other games are arcade-style, non-traditional golfing games, such as darts and blocks golf.
Golfzon sends a team of highly trained engineers to install and calibrate the golf simulator system – residential or commercial.
Normally, Golfzon estimates 6-8 weeks from the signed order to your first round at Pebble Beach – but with recent changes in logistics due to COVID-19 and other concerns, we have lengthened our turnaround time to 10-12 weeks.
While we’d love to say, “It’s so easy that anyone can do it,” that’s not really the case. Golfzon golf simulators are a highly specialized product with many unique features, such as a moving floor and an auto-tee system. It’s not easy to do, so we strongly recommend that our engineers, or other certified third-party installers of Golfzon simulators, take you across the finish line.
That depends largely on local market conditions and material/labor costs in your region. You can put your general contractor in touch with us, and Golfzon will help them understand the scope of the project so they can provide more accurate estimates.
You can call our team of dedicated engineers any time, day or night. Most services can be performed remotely, meaning they don’t have to actually be on-site to diagnose or repair the system.
